On Tuesday, 28/04/2026, the Department of Spatial Planning held a workshop on the alignment of the BSc program with that of TU Dortmund University, Germany.

The workshop focused on presenting the outcomes of a comprehensive comparison between the module manuals of both universities. This process is a key step toward strengthening the joint program and supporting future German accreditation efforts to ensure an internationally compatible curriculum.

The discussions highlighted the current status of the curriculum structure:

• Several modules are already well-aligned with the standards of TU Dortmund.
• Certain modules require minor adjustments to achieve full compatibility.
• Specific modules were identified as needing substantial revision to meet the structural and academic standards of the German program.
• Following the findings, lecturers were assigned specific tasks to update and refine modules.

The overall goal is to finalize all necessary updates and implement the revised curriculum for the 2026–2027 academic year. This will ensure a more harmonized program that meets international quality standards.
