The Department of City Planning/College of City and Regional Planning will hold a one-day workshop, focusing on Cultural Tourism Plan in Historic Cities. The workshop is led by Dr. Shireen I. Ismail and Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Hajani, alongside Ms. Jowan Bayez, with guest lecturer Dr. Bekas Brifkany, the Director of Antiquities of Duhok. It is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 15th October 2024, at Akre City/Qishla Building.

The workshop is planned to cover important topics of what a Tourism Plan is and will go through group discussions with government and non-government stakeholders. Afterwards, a field visit will be made by the groups around Akre city, followed by a presentation of the results.
