As a continuation of the joint project between the College of City and Regional Planning and TU Dortmund University, Germany, supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), a symposium will take place in Erbil on Monday, 16/12/2024. The event is titled Symposium on Citizen Participation in Development Planning in Kurdistan and targets decision-makers in ministries, directorates, and non-governmental develop­ment organizations.

The symposium will be organized and conducted under the training of Dr. Basheer A. M. Saeed, the head of the Spatial Planning Department, and Dr. Johannes Lückenkötter, the Project Coordinator from TU Dortmund University, with assistance from Mr. Saman Fakhradin, Mr. Aland Kamal, and Ms. Hozan Fawzi.
