The head of Spatial planning department Dr. Maha Makaika participated in the 1st Architecture Conference of "Architecture and Physical Environment  Challenges" . The Conference  was arranged by the Engineering Union in Baghdad with the Unions of Regional Engineers and architects in Egypt, Lebanon. Recommendations were: Towards Joint agreements for unifying environmental sustainable building codes, and Joint studies for facing different challenges related to reconstruction, displacement and informal settlements.
